1600+ Visit Day 1 of Virtual Trade Show

02-Jun-2020

Any doubts about how well the industry would embrace its first virtual expo have been eclipsed with more than 1600 people visiting the Print, Sign, Display & Graphics Virtual Trade Show on its first day yesterday, and orders already notified by some exhibitors.

Peter Harper, CEO of show organisers Visual Connections, said the site went live at 9am and by close of business, 1631 visitors had logged on see the latest technologies and solutions from some of the industry’s leading names.

“As well as video product demonstrations, exhibitors have provided expert commentary, downloadable information, product presentations and photo galleries, contacts and connections, and special show offers to sweeten the deal for businesses keen to invest in their future,” he reports.

“In addition, the webinar program has kicked off with the first five online sessions, covering highly relevant topics including the business outlook, threats and opportunities arising from COVID-19, how to guard your team’s wellbeing, and tips for communicating in a crisis.”

The show will now be open 24 hours a day through till the end of September, giving visitors – and, Harper says, any companies who would still like to exhibit – plenty of time to take advantage of this opportunity to do business in the current climate.

“We are absolutely delighted with the response to the first day of the show; it really has exceeded all our expectations and just proves that people are as keen as ever for opportunities to track the latest trends, keep up to date with new innovations, and invest in the future of their businesses, even in these challenging times,” Harper says.
